This Privacy Policy explains how Think Champ Pvt Ltd ("Think Champ", "we", "us"), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India, collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our website (think-champ.com) and our Think Champ Android app (together, the "Platform"). The app is meant for students who are enrolled with Think Champ.
Information We Collect
- Account and contact details: name, username, email address, phone number.
- Learning records: courses and batches, class attendance, assignments and project submissions, quiz and exam results, performance, feedback, certificates, and messages you send in Doubt Chat.
- Payments: fee records and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment gateway; we do not store your card numbers.
- Device and app data: a device identifier (used to limit the number of devices per account), device model, app version, IP address, and a push notification token.
- Camera and microphone: only if you use features that need them (for example quizzes with a camera check or mock interviews). The app asks your permission on your phone, and you can turn it off in your phone settings.
- Files you upload: assignments, projects, documents and signed letters.
- Usage data and analytics: how the Platform is used, to keep it working and improve it.
We do not collect your precise location. We may work out an approximate location (city) from your IP address for security and device records.
How We Use Information
- Course enrollment and learning account management
- Delivering classes, recordings, assignments, quizzes and certificates
- Providing student support and answering doubts
- Sending class alerts, attendance and fee reminders, and other updates (including push notifications)
- Keeping accounts secure and preventing sharing of logins
- Improving platform performance
Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Platform, and only as needed: Google Firebase (push notifications), payment gateway providers (fee payments), email service providers such as Brevo (emails and reminders), and hosting and security providers such as Hostinger and Cloudflare. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Data Retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed for education records, certificates, and legal and accounting requirements. Some uploaded files (such as assignments) may be deleted after evaluation and a reasonable period. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data as described on our account deletion page, except records we must keep by law.
Data Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure sign-in. However, no online platform can guarantee complete security.
Children
The Platform is not directed to children under 13. Some of our students may be minors; their accounts are created by Think Champ when they enrol. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to review, correct or delete a child's information.
Your Rights and Account Deletion
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information. To delete your account and data, follow the steps on our account deletion page. We handle requests in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
